Booking, voucher, Christmas and contact forms do not store a copy on this website. When you press send, your device opens an email to us with the fields you typed. We use that email only to answer you — to confirm a table, a party, or a voucher — and we keep it for as long as the booking or the conversation needs, then delete it in the ordinary course of running the pub.
We do not sell personal information. We do not run advertising trackers on these pages. The map is embedded from Google Maps; Google receives the fact that your browser loaded the map, under Google’s own terms.
You can ask us what we hold about you from an email or a phone call, and you can ask us to correct or delete it. If you are unhappy with the reply, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Terms of use
This site describes The George & Vulture, our food, drink, events and how to book. Menus, prices, offers and event dates can change. The price on the night at the bar or on your confirmation is the one that counts. Monday 2-4-1 pizza, the Sunday session and quiz night run as advertised unless we say otherwise in the pub.
A booking is confirmed when we reply. For more than eight guests we take a refundable deposit of £5 a person, and £10 a person for major sporting events. Outdoor tables are not reserved; they are first come, first served.
Gift vouchers are for food and drink in the pub. They are not cash. Drag Carols on 9 and 17 December is an 18+ event.
Photographs and the name The George & Vulture belong to the house. Please do not copy the site and present it as your own. The pages are provided in good faith; we are not liable for a journey planned on an out-of-date time or a closed kitchen on a private-hire night. If you are unsure, call.
